Kauffman selected as JeffCo treasurer

Westminster banker Tim Kauffman has been selected to replace Faye Griffin as Jefferson County's next treasurer and will be officially sworn in today.

Kauffman will be the second person to fill this position since the colorful, controversial, and gleefully acquitted Mark Paschall was indicted and eventually found not guilty not once, but twice, for his role in an alleged 2007 kickback scheme that rocked Jefferson County politics.
