Kudos to our favorite underdog. After facing a bruising primary race, Denver Republican - yes, there are a few of them - Joshua Sharf is heading full force toward his general election match up in House District 6, where just a quarter of the district's voters are Republican (compared to 41 percent who are Democrats and 33 percent who are unaffiliated).
Undeterred by such daunting statistics in a crowded election year, Sharf is now taking to the airwaves in his attempt to sway voters with his own Internet-based radio show. While it appears that he has faced some technical difficulties thus far, he's on the right track. With at least two shows--complete with a call-in number - before the election, he's raising the stakes for candidates who follow.
Also of note is Sharf's "Door-O-Meter," a feature on his site, www.SharfColorado.com, where he calculates the number of doors he has knocked on since his campaign began. Always one for details, Sharf proclaims that he has hit 5,492 households.
