As part of its continuing mission to educate the public on the importance of limited government and free market policy, the Independence Institute is offering a condensed, one night version of its economics class, Free People, Free Markets.
The class, which "makes a moral case for capitalism," has previously been offered as a five-week course twice a year. Next week, on April 15, the class will be offered in condensed form from 6:30-9:30 PM at the Platte River Academy in Highlands Ranch. It will be taught by Senior II Fellow Dr. Paul Prentice, an economist who served under President Ronald Reagan.
The $25 registration fee makes for a great opportunity to get a quick refresher course on our country's founding principles, free market economic policy and the ethics of capitalism. For more information, visit the Independence Institute's Web site. The classes generally fill quickly, so early reservations are recommended.
In the words of II President Jon Caldara, "It's a one night stand your mother would approve of!"
