Lt. Gov. Barbara O'Brien has taken to the Internet to tell you about all the important things she's doing. And now you can subscribe to a monthly podcast to catch the latest.
In a Monday press release announcing the podcasts, O'Brien reiterated the importance of her post. "It is important for everyone in Colorado to understand that my office is also working toward goals that will improve the state, especially in these challenging economic times," said Lt. Gov. O'Brien.
In her first audio recording, just over three minutes long, O'Brien addresses education reform in light of recent and upcoming budget cuts. She serves on Ritter's P-20 Education Council that makes recommendations to the governor about ways to improve public education. Listen to the audio here.
Not only is O'Brien leaping into new media, but you can also subscribe to an RSS feed just in case the monthly release date slips your mind.
Of course, if the Lt. Governor's podcasts don't fully satiate your need for Colorado talk, there's always Face The State's weekly radio program...
