COLORADO'S FRONTPAGE

Face the State

http://backboneamerica.net/

This site is hosted by Backbone America Citizens Alliance, John Andrews, Chairman. The alliance stands for America without apologies, America with steel in her spine, America as it was meant to be according to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. John is a fellow of the Claremont Institute, former Colorado Senate President, appointee of four US Presidents, US Navy veteran, Presbyterian elder, father and grandfather — as well as mayor-for-life of Backbone, Colorado, his imaginary hometown of the heart.

Backbone America is a nonprofit, nonpartisan voice that champions the principles of the American founding. Our vision foresees the 21st-century conservative movement reborn in the spirit of 1776. Our work applies the truths of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution to contemporary issues in the states. Our name evokes the high Rockies as a summons to individual honor and constitutional rigor in these times.

Memo to Zoo & RTD: You’re three decades out of date. Global cooling and encroaching glaciers was the panic of the 1970s. Today’s crisis is the opposite, a sweltering planet and disappearing ice caps. Get back on message there. No big deal, though. The villains are we greedy, heartless human beings either way.
