Face The State was on the scene for the Independence Insitute's annual Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Party, held Saturday at the Kiowa Creek Sporting Club. If you missed this year's event - we were on site shooting everything and everyone (with a camera.)
Attendees spent the morning shooting shotgun on the club's professional course, then retired for lunch, a stiff drink and a smooth smoke. Speakers included Independence Institute president Jon Caldara, Reason magazine senior editor Radley Balko and keynoter Sam Wurzelbacher, a.k.a. Joe the Plumber, who famously queried candidate Barack Obama about his position on small business issues.
