A U.S. District Court has dismissed the case against Jay Klinkerman, who evicted three protesters from a speech being given by Pres. George W. Bush in March 2005.

The trio, dubbed the “Denver Three,” was evicted for having a “No More Blood for Oil” bumper sticker on one of their cars. Two of the protesters, Leslie Weise and Alex Young, argued their First Amendment rights had been violated and filed a lawsuit against Klinkerman, who was a volunteer for the Colorado Young Republicans and acting on instructions from Bush’s security team.

“My client didn’t set the policy or give the orders,” said Klinkerman’s attorney John Zakhem. “He just did what he was told. They had no business suing my guy.”

Zakhem said he and his client are "ecstatic" about the ruling.
